Quality Assurance
The Quality Assurance Office for Cherokee County E 9-1-1 performs routine audits on all aspects of call processing related to our communications center and requests for calls for service. All Communications Officers are evaluated monthly on all disciplines and receive feedback and if necessary remediation.
In 2023, Cherokee County E 9-1-1 completed 246,552 calls for service requests.
For Quality Assurance purposes those are broken down into three categories, and they are Medical, Phone, and Radio. Of the 246,552 call-for-service requests,1,258 were evaluated.
Medical: There were 17,610 medical calls for service. Out of those calls, 449 were evaluated. Of those calls, there were several milestones achieved by our communications officers. There was a total of 17 CPR Life Saves and 2 babies delivered.
Phone: There were 239,062 phone calls answered. Out of those 412 were evaluated. Those can be further broken down into 911 (236), Alarm (113), and Admin (63).
Radio: There were 397 radio dispatches evaluated.
That makes a total of 1,258 evaluated calls for 2023.
